Oh-so-close-but-such-a-mess!

One month has passed since the last update and I am happy to report that we have drywall, pre-stucco, partial roof, paint on the walls, and are ready to do the tile/wood & final wiring!  It has been exciting to see everything move along these past few months.  There was a little scare with monsoon season and a partial roof, but Mikey was on roof, with plastic cover & staple gun and saved the day!

The challenge is living with a junkyard for a backyard, and seeing everything 85% done.  I know the last 15% will go very quickly but it's hard to see so many open ended items.  A little sneak peak of what's to come-- but don't judge the mess!
Mikey & Todd on the roof!

Ohmanthat'sanorangewall!  Loving it!  Trust, me it will be great.

Master bedroom, looking north.  We re-used the double set of french doors from the existing house.  They turned out great next to each other!  To the right is Mikey's special "new tv" area.

The hallway/office area with double wide doors to the new patio.  The left wall will have side-by-side desks and bookcases.  The right door, slides open to create a double-wide french slider.

Holy blue wall!  Doesn't this conjure images of the Greek Isles?  It doesn't?!  Well, stand-by because it will.  I promise.

With 85% roof, and 50% stucco!  This is just the pre-application. Once we are near the end they will come back with the final coat and color.  It's starting to look a little more like a real house, yes??

This was the pre-stucco/roof shot.  Lot's of awesome hard-workers dedicating their time in 105-degrees.  We are so luck!

View of the side patio facing south.  See that yard?!  Such a mess!
More to come!!  We are hoping the next 2 weeks are big ones!
