I say construction - you say mess!

Holy moly, let the summer project begin!  Now, I am not ashamed to say that the "before" pics really don't look much different from the new "under construction pics" because our backyard was....to say the lease... lacking. But this is what we have been waiting 3.5 years for!  The time has finally come to do the addition! 

After months and months of plan reviews, City reviews, contractor interviews and everything in between we finally received our permits and the past two weeks have flown by so quickly!  Here are some teaser pics to whet your whistle.  More to come as the projects bumps along!  Estimated completion date: August 13th.  Let's see if we can make it happen, folks!

Aaannndd, drum roll please!!!!  This is what it looks like right now, after all the demo is done.  Next phase - pour footers, lay plumbing, then the slab!  Can't wait!!

Yes, to answer your question - all of this dirt DOES end up inside the house, thanks to very active puppies.  Sweeping/dusting is my new favorite hobby...
